Model and Actress Matilda Alagoa Interview on U-Will Celebrities’ Gossip (UwillCgossip)

Guess who stopped by yesterday? Uwillcgossip had the opportunity to interview one of the most smartest and outstanding actress and model in the city of Port-Harcourt. Matilda Alagoa, from Bayelsa was born in Port-harcourt, River State. Graduate from the department of theater and media art, university of Port-Harcourt.

I knew Matilda back in the day while she was still in her secondary school in Port-Harcourt, hear what she said about the Nigeria entertainment industry and her place in it.

Just between the both of us, it’s been a while…what have you been up to?

Hmmmm yea! I know it’s been a while, you forgot about people like me heheheheheh.

Not really, work has to come in. How is it with you?

Things are great, still trying to get the dream going.

Nice! What are the challenges of being a young and vibrant actress in the Nigeria Movie industry?

Willie, I will not be going into details but, it’s kinda tough getting through the Nigerian Movie industry, like you know, it’s Nigeria and you have to do what you have to keep your head up. Some of the producers you come across are supportive and understanding and we thank God for producers like that. You know nothing good comes easy.

Is this your first interview since you came into the industry?

I think so Willie. Hehehehehe.

You’re not talking to Willie oh, you’re talking to U-Will Celebrities’ Gossip and your fans out there reading.

Yes I know.

So, from your own point of view, how do you see Nigeria movie industry?

Nigeria movie industry is progressing seeing new things everyday with lot of ideas being put up on screen, it’s wonderful and I know we are getting there soon. With the likes of Nollywood actress Omotola, Gennevive, Ini Edo, Tonto dikeh and so many others, the industry should up to standard in a few years from now.

Have you been featured in any movie recently?

Yes, I did Rod or correction in 2012 and who is afraid of job interview etc. I also did modeling for wedding gown and firm’s magazine. I’ve been in billboard and cloth modeling.

Do you have any particular company you would like to work with?

Not really, I think I’m ready to work with any good company that would want me to work with them; it’s about creating and taking the Nigeria entertainment industry globally. Even if it means modeling for U-Will Celebrities’ Gossip, only if you’re willing oh! hehhehehe.

I’ll keep that in mind. I will not want to take much of your time…..
